Foundation
Виртуальный инструмент Foundation, плагин формата VSTi, мощный инструмент для проигрывания лупов формата REX2. Доп. информация: Действительно качественные барабанные лупы. Хорошо вписываются почти в любую аранжировку. Каждый луп звучит на нескольких треках, что не нужно, всегда можно приглушить.

This 1/3rd octave spectrum analyzer VST plugin is based on the GOST 17168-82 — Filters electrical
octave and third-octave. General technical requirements and methods of testing. And also meets
IEC804:1985 — Standard Specification for Integrating-averaging sound level meters.
Interface is modelled on classic DN60 spectrum analyzer by Klark Teknik, originally developed 1980.
Our plugin adds “high precision” filters and full frequency scale of GOST 17168-82 standard.

BoomComb is a tuneable comb filter VST2.4 plugin. Now you may ask what is a comb filter? Well a comb filter a delay based effect where it feeds back a delayed version of itself. Because of this it can create an effect similar to a flanger and can also give resonation type effects. The delay time of the comb is specified in Hz rather than time, allowing the delay time to be set via MIDI input from a key press or using the pitch wheel, this allows the effect to be played like an instrument.
In the feedback loop of the effect is a damping filter which allows you to soften the sound of the comb. There is also Saturation in the feedback loop which can also be overdriven to dirty up the sound. You can also control the length of the resonation via the decay control.
Finally the output to the comb can mixed with the input and is controlled by the dry/wet knob.
BoomComb can be used as a flange like effect or can be used like a resonator with the frequency controlled by MIDI. It can also be used to create string like sounds via inputting noise into it. Another use is that it can be used to add space to a sound, and can be useful for spicing up synthetic drum sounds to make them sound a little more interesting.
The new 1.1 version has been rebuilt so that the GUI version can now support windows XP. Also there is a load of new presets provided by the talented 'Groove Criminals'. As well as that the feedback control has been changed into a decay control, to control the length of the resonation. Along with all this there are many bug fixes and optimizations.

Возвращаясь к установке NI Kontakt 4 и его апдейтов до 4.1
При попытке открыть интересующую меня библиотеку Evolve Mutations 2 возникают такого рода сообщение:

Хотя родных библиотек Контакта я так и не вижу - ни в родном браузере - ни в Проводнике.

А ты как библиотеку добовляешь? Нужно через вкладку Libraries -> Add Library и выбираешь папку с библиотекой. Она автоматически добовляется к библиотекам контакта. Если не добовляется - это скорее кривая библиотека, чем кривой контакт
